Although this was made in the 80’s with some of the crappiest directors at the time, it is still a Gem. The Lead Guitarist (R.I.P.) on the tea cup ride is just classic. I would have barfed my guts out trying to to play & ride that thing at the same time! LOL

I’ve always liked this song, but with RIC singing”….All I need is you tonight…” on a merry go round full of beautiful women in their underwear. Seems like he isn’t doing too bad for himself. Still love the CARS and the song

I was 16 when this came out. I used to play it in the dark before I went to sleep and I’d think of my girlfriend Martha. Ahhhh, swe youth. LOL

The keyboard part is almost exactly like Petty’s ‘You Got Lucky’, weird…
I actually like the video. For some reason I find it endearing that The Cars really don’t look like rock stars. Ric Ocasek looks like a high school physics teacher and that little nerd on the keyboard looks he’s getting an A in his class. They kinda remind me of my old D&D troupe. I love these guys.
